ART T.V.: The Life & Demise of Melton Johnson

In early December, 2009, two artist/visionaries realized they lived across the hall from each other in a dingy walk-up on N 8 Street, Brooklyn. Disillusioned with the courses their lives had taken the previous year, as well as the course of humanity at large, they began work on what can be considered one of the most provocative sculptural/ceremonial pieces from the “0″ decade.

This episode of ART T.V. gets a rare look inside the artists’ studio, exploring their creative process, methods, rituals, and the short but glorious life of the being they created: Melton Johnson.
RIP.
